This jersey takes its cue from Junkanoo, the Bahamian street parade that explodes onto the road on Boxing Day and New Year’s morning. For enslaved Africans in the Bahamas, December 26 was often the only sanctioned day off—a window of time they used to dance, drum, mask up, and keep pieces of West African identity alive in plain sight.
The design pulls from that tradition: vibrant geometric patterns inspired by Junkanoo costumes, motifs that nod to cowbells and goatskin drums, and flowing lines meant to feel like a rushout in motion. The palette—electric yellows, pinks, greens, and blues—is pure Bay Street at 3 a.m.
Today, Junkanoo is national pride and generational craft—families passing down costume-building, music, and choreography like inheritance. This jersey is a small salute to that work: a Caribbean culture jersey built as Bahamian heritage fashion, made for anyone who hears a whistle blow and instinctively looks for the nearest parade.
